There is no limit to the range. As long as there is mobile GSM coverage in the area, you can follow your GPS tracker via the app or a computer. You can see the positions of the GPS tracker even if the unit is several thousand kilometres away from you.

Start by making sure your GPS tracker is started. See if the device's LEDs indicate GPRS coverage and that your GPS tracker is searching for GPS signal. How exactly the LEDs flash can be found in the user manual for your device. Then set your device at the lowest possible update interval, 30 seconds, without power save mode activated and take the device for a short walk for about 10-15 minutes. Feel free to contact our support if you want further advice: support@minifinder.com.

When your GPS tracker is indoors, the communication between GPS and satellites is affected by walls and ceilings. A margin of error can therefore occur and you may sometimes find that your GPS tracker does not show the exact position when the device is indoors.

Our MiniFinder products have a special IoT SIM card with an Estonian number to guarantee the best possible coverage on the devices. The Estonian SIM card means that your MiniFinder has the opportunity to roam on all operators' networks, depending on which operator has the best coverage in the area where the GPS tracker is located.

Go to the device's settings in the app and change the update intervals to a slower frequency, then it will noticeably extend the battery life of your GPS tracker or your personal alarm.

A GPS tracker is a tracking transmitter that can be used to, for example, track and protect valuables such as cars, machines, valuables and other equipment.

Yes, we ship orders worldwide.

Delivery time depends on the chosen delivery method. Within the EU, the delivery time is 1-3 days. In the rest of the world between 3-7 days.

From the time we receive a unit that has been sent to us for service, you can count on a service time of 3-4 days before the unit is sent back from us. Service that only applies to change of shell is sent from us on the same day we receive the unit. The service time varies depending on the number of units you have sent and what problem (s) have been experienced with the unit/units.

If you just placed the order, please contact support@minifinder.com immediately with your order number and what you wish to do. If the order already has been shipped you will have to return the item yourself. Read about our return policy here!

All our units are equipped with a GPS-chip that uses satellites to determine it’s position. This connection could be sensitive to obstacles such as the roof and walls. Because of this, we advise you to take a walk outside directly after starting the unit for the first time. This to give the unit the best foundations to establish a stable connection the the satellite.

Restart the unit, put the charger in and make sure you do not have power saving mode on. After this, take the unit outside the house (50-100m) to allow the unit to calibrate with the satellite.

Zepto is easily connected to the car's diagnostic socket, so-called OBD port. The OBD port is usually located on the dashboard somewhere under the steering wheel. Sometimes it may be behind a small hatch. If you are unsure of where the OBD port is located in your vehicle, you can easily find the answer in the vehicle's manual.

To connect the Zepto to a battery, you need an OBD power adapter. The adapter is then easily connected to the battery's plus and minus poles. The black cable is for the negative pole and the red for the positive pole. Then connect the Zepto to the adapter.

OBD means onboard diagnostic system. It is the vehicle's self-diagnostics and reporting tools that are used to quickly provide real-time data from the car.

You can buy Zepto through our webshop, https://shop.minifinder.com/minifinder-zepto-en or at one of our retailers.

Yes, it is possible, but since excavators usually do not have an OBD port, an OBD power adapter will be needed to be able to connect it to the vehicle.
